The mission of the Little Compton Democratic Town Committee is to build and support an inclusive government at the local, state, and national levels. We work together to engage with our neighbors, using respectful civil discourse and researched, fact-based information to promote awareness and constructive civil action.

We believe in the core values of the Democratic Party: that this country succeeds when everyone gets a fair shot, everyone does their fair share, and everyone plays by the same rules.

We are dedicated to:

• Supporting Democratic campaigns and candidates at the local, state, and federal levels.

• Enhancing citizen awareness and education through outreach and engagement as well as promoting citizen input and planning by means of civil conversation within all town boards and committees.

• Increasing voter registration and participation in all possible voting venues, including vote-by-mail, early voting, and election day voting.

• Supporting policies and programs that benefit people in need.

• Advocating for transparency in government decision-making and, at the local level, promoting and encouraging participation in town meetings and local issues being discussed.

• Fostering friendship and cultural links with communities internationally.
